Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 11, 2026
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Ours are used for two things: keeping the site working properly, and counting visits. That is it.
The cookies we use
Necessary cookies
These make the website function. Our site runs on WordPress, and WordPress and our performance plugin set cookies to serve pages quickly and to keep our staff logged in when they update the site. If you are just visiting, these do almost nothing to you. They cannot be turned off without breaking the site.
Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic. It sets a cookie named _ga, which lasts about two years and tells Google Analytics you are a returning visitor rather than a new one, and a second cookie starting with _ga_, which tracks the current session.
What we see from this is grouped and anonymous: how many people came to the site this month, which pages they looked at, whether they found us on a phone or a laptop, and roughly what part of the country they are in. We use it to decide what to put on the website. We cannot see who you are.
Cookies set by other companies
When you click through to buy tickets or book a party, our booking provider Peek and our payment provider Square set their own cookies on their own pages. Embedded content, like our Google Map or a social media link, can do the same. We do not control those cookies. If you want the details, read the cookie and privacy policies for Google, Peek, and Square.
What we do not use
We do not run advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site trackers on this website. We are not following you around the internet after you leave.
How to control cookies
Every major browser lets you block cookies, delete the ones already stored, or browse privately so nothing is saved. Look under Settings, then Privacy. Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge each publish step-by-step instructions.
If you want to opt out of Google Analytics specifically, Google offers a browser add-on that blocks it on every site you visit. Search for the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Blocking cookies will not lock you out of our site. Pages may load a little slower, and we will not count your visit.
Changes to this policy
If we add or remove a tool that uses cookies, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
